Rules

1. Have fun
2. Do not forget Rule number 1
3. Trust your partner
4. Save discussion until after the round
5. Apply the Law of Total Trumps "Law of Total Trumps" and the Law of Total Tricks "Law of Total Tricks" whenever possible

Priorities

1. Play in an 8-card major suit fit.  Seek a 4-4 major suit fit even if a 5-3 major suit fit has already been found
2. If an 8-card major suit fit is not found, prefer to play in notrump.  Eccentric fits are not a deterrent
3. If all else fails, play in a minor suit (slam?)
